They come with a range of features, including a sleek design, compatibility with 400 Series products, two LEDs that blink in standby mode for 360° visibility, a broad range of adapter bases with built-in shorting springs, and a hand-held sensitivity reader. Models 2151 (photoelectric sensor) and 2151T (photoelectric sensor with thermal) can be used with various adapter bases, wiring configurations, and voltages. They have several features, such as low current draw, stable performance in high air velocities, built-in tamper-resistant base design, remote LED option, removable cover, and built-in test switch. The 100 Series smoke detectors are designed to meet UL's performance criteria, with a sensing chamber that is sealed against backpressure airflow. A one-piece molded screen covers the chamber top, minimizing the entry of dirt and insects, and can be removed for cleaning. Additional key features include a variety of mounting bases and a full range of accessories. All 100 Series photoelectric smoke detectors come with a unique optical sensing chamber that detects smoke particles produced by a wide range of combustion sources. A custom integrated circuit processes signals to reduce false alarms.
